So I say, live by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the spirit, and the spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the spirit you are not under law.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with it’s passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking, and envying each other.
Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
Well, it's my first day back in Virginia. I woke up early this morning to say goodbye to the girls before they left for work. Then to our pleasant surprise, my car was no longer outside. Apparently it was towed last night. Fun.
I had the pleasure of calling the police department, apartment complex, and more than one taxi service. All before 9:00 am. Not to mention, it wasn't exactly cheap, and I am unemployed. We are all splitting the cost, which was very nice of the roommates to offer. Need less to say, I have a guest pass now.
I called the doctor I will be working for just before lunch. Her hygienist decided to start her new job a week early so she has no one at the moment. She asked if I was interested in starting early. I have to say, I can't complain. At least it will cover my towing fees : )
My last days in Switzerland...
We went out last night so I posted some new pictures.

I hope everyone is having a really good weekend. More and more Chrstmas decorations are going up here everyday. I had a really good week with the girls, besides having the worst stomach flu I hope to EVER encounter in my lifetime. The whole family had it so we all knew how bad it was.
A tram for children that Nadine got to ride on Monday. There is a Santa Clause inside and angels that read the kids a story. Then when they got off they all had glitter on their nose from the angel dust...pretty adorable.
Nadine and I had a bit of a rough morning on Friday. I told here she had to wear a hat and gloves to school and she never wants to wear them. So when I dropped her off at school I couldn't find her winter accessories. Guess what...she left them at home because she didn't WANT them. The encouraging teacher just looked at her laughing and said, Oh you silly girl! While I agreed, through gritted teeth, that she was indeed..."a silly girl!" Thankfully, when I got back to the school with her winter things I had the opportunity to pull her aside and explain to her that it is not acceptable to leave something at home just because you don't WANT it.
Patricia and I spent the entire day together yesterday. I really think she is one of the cleverest two year olds I will ever meet. She told me in the morning that she also didn't want to wear her hat and gloves because it, "Makes me feel fat like Santa Clause."
She loves to sing Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. I am trying to speak to her in German and in English now. I really want her to learn more English, especially at this age because she has absolutely no accent. She sounds just like a little American. She loves to enlighten everyone with her new English knowledge. She knows that ein Hund(in German) is a dog. She likes to say please, and yesterday she even told Jessica thank you!
I had to put Patricia to bed last night because both of her parents were out. She didn't want to go to sleep, of course. I layed with her and when I told her that she had to be quite and try to sleep she told me that if I wasn't nice that the lion in her bed was going to bite me. I seriously don't know where she comes up with all of these idea's at the age of two. Then when I finally began to give up, I told her I would go downstairs and tidy up a little. I made her promise me that she would not leave her bed while I was downstairs. Assuming, she would have to sleep because what else is she going to do in her bed. After about ten minutes I think she has to be asleep. So I walk upstairs and the light is on in her room and she is reading a book. Then I realized that she could reach the light from her bed. She also explained to me that she didn't break the rules because the book was in her bed.
I can't help but wonder....how I am I being outsmarted by a two year old?
Candice left on Friday to go home : ( This pic is from her going away...
Jesssica and I went out for fondue on Thursday with my German teacher and some other students.
I got a hair cut!!!
A Time for Everything
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Yesterday Patricia and I went to a Christmas Market in Uster.
Today the girls came to my room with a gift all wrapped up. Patricia just couldn't wait to tear in open and find my Advent Calender. Advent starts today! My calender has a piece of chocolate for everyday until Christmas...mmmm.
Now we all have are calenders and are just counting the days! However, Santa Clause will be here next Thursday : )
Today Susi and I talked about all of the Christmas plans. We don't put the tree up until the 23rd. And if we are good the Angels will bring us gifts on the 24th. I am getting very excited!
Tomorrow Jessica and I are going to Stutgartt, Germany for a Chirstmas market.
Happy Holidays!
Happy 21st Birthday Daric!!!
Just trying to enjoy everyday, amidst all the confusion.
Feelings Show- Colbie Caillat
You told me
You'd wait here patiently but
I wonder if he's kidding
Well maybe he could be serious now
Maybe not
What I'm trying to say is that
I'm feeling a change and
I'll let it take all over
If you need time away
I won't ask you to stay
But I don't want to lose you
Love is crazy
Pretty baby
Take it real slow
My feelings show
All you have to do
Is never ever let it go
What I'm trying to say is that
I'm feeling a change and
I'll let it take all over
If you need time away
I won't ask you to stay
But I don't want to lose you
Love is crazy
Pretty baby
Take it real slow
My feelings show
All you have to do
Is never ever let it go
My feelings show
And I want you to know
My feelings show
Realize- Colbie Caillat
Take time to realize,
That your warmth is. Crashing down on in.
Take time to realize,
That I am on your side
Didn't I, Didn't I tell you.
But I can't spell it out for you,
No it's never gonna be that simple
No I cant spell it out for you
It's not always the same
No it's never the same
If you don't feel it to.
If you meet me half way
If you would meet me half way.
It could be the same for you.
If you just realized what I just realized
Then we'd be perfect for each other
Then we'd never find another
Just realized what I just realized
We'd never have to wonder
Just realized what I just realized
OoOoOOo
Missed out on each other now
Battle- Colbie Caillat
You thought we'd be fine
All these years gone by
Now its over
And im feelin like we've missed out on everything
I just hope its worth the fight.
Cause this is a battle
And its your final last call....
It was a trial, you made a mistake, we know, can't you see you hurt me so
But why arent you sorry, why arent you sorry, why?
This can be better, we can be happy, try.
It's your final last call.
The Little Things- Colbie Caillat
My feet have broke free, and i am leaving
I'm not gonna stand here, feelin lonely but
I wont forget you, and i won't think this
Was just a waste of time
So back up back up take another chance
Don't you mess up, I don't wanna lose you
Wake up this isn't just a thing that you
Give up, don't you say that I'd be
Better off, by myself and wonderin
If im better off, with out you.
It's the contradiction of life.
If I were with them, I would only wish to be far away. Now that I am far away, all I do is wish for one more day surrounded by them.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I wish everyone a great Thanksgiving day! I will be missing all of you, all day long...
I am dreaming of all of the yummy food.
The girls and I are making pizza tonight! I plan to call all of you after they go to bed.
Today Susi and I took the girls to a Christmas market in Stafa(a couple of towns from us). It was really nice.
Miss all of you, don't have too much fun without me ; )
Lot's of love!

Tonight I nannied for Pierpollo and Giancarlo. Those boys are so cute! I helped them with their homework and ended up typing a short paper for Giancarlo, otherwise we may have been doing homework all night.
Pierpollo told me today that his dad said that I am their best nanny they have had. It's nice to feel appriciated.
Antonio is sick but I still stayed for dinner, even though I didn't think it was the best idea if he was sick. It seems that many people are sick here right now. Hopefully not me!!!
I miss you all!
